Further Research into the Dangers of BPA and Phthalates

The latest posting on the Healthy Child Healthy World Blog summarizes research from Yale University which points to the potential carcinogenic effect of BPA found in a female fetus.

Further the scientific journal, Immunology, reports how phthalates may cause a type of allergy known as contact hypersensitivity when tested in mice.

Study Confirms Link Between BPA & Cardiovascular Disease

The pressure on UK regulators to formally recognise the potential harmful effects of BPA on health has increased following the latest findings of researchers from the Peninsula Medical School and the University of Exeter.

In their latest study, researchers have confirmed their previous findings that there is a statistically significant link between urinary BPA levels and the incidence of cardiovascular disease.

VUPbaby hopes this latest study will further keep up consumer pressure on UK regulators to restrict and even ban the use of BPA in all food-contact products.
