Canada Bans Adverts and Imports of BPA Baby Bottles

Canada has been the global leader in recognizing the dangers of BPA and banned the use of this chemical in baby products back in 2008. Now the country has also banned BPA baby bottles in adverts and importation into Canada. "We have immediately taken action on bisphenol A because we believe it is our responsibility to ensure families, Canadians and our environment are not exposed to a potentially harmful chemical," Tony Clement, the Canadian minister of health, said in a statement.
