Make sure your reusable bottle really is BPA-free

A recent study has shown that some reusable water bottles are actually leaching BPA.

The study, undertaken by the University of Cincinnati, found that BPA leaked into reusable bottles when the bottle was made of polycarbonate or aluminium lined with expoxy resin. Using hot water caused more BPA to leak, and, perhaps not surprisingly, cheaper bottles showed a greater degree of leaking than more expensive ones.
