Important BPA legislation test-case: California

This week, the California legislature plans to wrap up its legislative session and make many decisions about the services, priorities, and the budget of their state. Amongst these very tough decisions, legislation to ban the toxic plastics chemical bisphenol A (BPA) from baby bottles and sippy cups sold in California is finally moving to the California Senate floor: the Senate’s Environmental Quality Committee recently approved the Toxin-Free Infants and Toddlers Act, and a Senate vote on the legislation may come before the end of August.
